By the time November rolls around, I usually have two things on my mind: finding one last great read before the year ends and adding far too many books to my holiday wish list. Thankfully, the November 2026 fiction releases make both very easy.

I've rounded up the upcoming fiction books I'm most excited about this month, including historical fiction, romance, fantasy, mysteries, and paranormal adventures. While November's release schedule is a little smaller than October's, it's got great books from bestselling authors and several series I'm excited to revisit.

One of my most anticipated November releases is Birth of the Witch by Nora Roberts. A story about reincarnation, witches, and long-buried secrets sounds like the perfect novel to settle in with on a chilly evening. I'm also looking forward to The Heist Before Christmas by Lucy Score because the Riley Thorn series always delivers the perfect mix of mystery, romance, humour, and chaos… adding a Christmas setting only makes it more irresistible!

Historical fiction readers have Peregrine Hill by Nina de Gramont to look forward to, while Catherine Cowles returns with another emotional small-town romance in Beneath a Midnight Moon. Fans of paranormal mysteries can also dive back into Maxie Dara's wonderfully original SCYTHE series with A Grim Reaper's Guide to Living Twice.
